Entry: Geo Field Trip 3.4.2005

We were actually supposed to go to Taal volcano since yun yung nearest destination na ultimately related sa Geology, kaso during that time (last week of January), medyo may volcanic activity pa siya. So there, we ended up in Tagaytay's People's Park in the Sky, which was literally what it was.

Contrary to what I expected since we shared the bus with another course, the bus ride was really fun. Lucky for us, JC brought his guitar. He knows a lot of tunes so marami-rami rin kameng nakanta. And lucky for me, Kokoy, my seatmate, was a future band singer (he sings amazingly well, parang Alex Band), so there never was a dull moment. Shempre hindi mawawala ang picture taking. :)

Me and Jessy

In a couple of hours, we arrived at our first stop. Although the park is kind of corny (I wanted to try out the kiddy playground, pero shempre baka gumiba dahil sakin, kaya hindi na lang), it has an absolutely amazing view of Taal and the surrounding plains. It was also chilly there, in a fresh kind of way, kaso the atmosphere was ruined by the jeepneys and buses.

Ah well. Might as well enjoy the view.

Like I said, we were literally up in the sky

Next stop was the Nasugbu beach resort. It wasn't really a remarkable beach, but hey, for a beach bum like me, basta may sand at clean salt water, ayos na! The place was really sandy without and rocks and stones in sight.

It was my first time to wear a racerback in public, and it really was a big step for me. I just wanted my tan to even out, maputi kasi yung forearm ko (yung natatakpan ng shirt sleeves) tas maitim yung lower arm dahil sa pagbibilad pag soccer.

Beach babes of Nasugbu!

Sand's a natural exfoliant. Beats the expensive foot spas in town!

Obviously, we had a lot of fun -- and I've run out of adjectives to describe what we've experienced. Last field trip na namin 'to as freshies, at next school year may mga magshishift na, so it was kind of memorable. And what better way to cap it all of than to capture the moment. Lol, in case you haven't noticed, our block shares my passion for pictires. We had photo ops during the ride home -- creative pictures, mind you. Artistic. Kinky, in a way, kaya I won't post it, baka kumalat at maging UP scandal. Basta, it's for us to treasure. :) Eto na lang share ko, one of the unkinky ones:

In case you were wondering, that's Oreo in our teeth

To tell you guys the truth, it was my first time to have a field trip that rocked. I mean, from kinder to high school, it was always the same -- educational and dull. Astig talaga ang pagiging iskolar. :D
